马岭古道，起始于浙西山区建德东部与浦江县西部交界的县界山脉马岭山，一直延伸到杭州市桐庐县芦茨埠（芦茨湾慢生活体验区），蜿蜒于浦江、建德、桐庐三地交界处的崇山峻岭中。这是一条青石板铺筑的古道，宽度在1.2米左右。从马岭隧道口，沿着山势蜿蜒而上，一眼望不到头。
马岭山海拔900余米。该古道起点海拔341米，过马岭山最高点为海拔688米，全长20多公里。马岭古道沿山体、小溪、梯田蜿蜒而上、穿林而过，一路有古桥、古祠庙、名人古宅、古遗址、古村落等。
